On Sunday 21 October 2018, Taree Motorcycle Club will hold a combined Working Bee / Practice Day at its Old Bar Roadside complex.
The gates will open at 8:00am, sign-on will be open until 10:00am; and riding will commence after the completion of the working bee.
The working bee will prepare the track and complex for the Taree round of the Tri-Series traditionally held between Taree, Kempsey and Gunnedah Motorcycle Clubs.
The first round was run at Gunnedah on the 17th June this year, the second round was set down for Taree on 3rd November and the third round was to be held at Kempsey on the 4th November.
However, the Kempsey Tri-Series round has been replaced by the rescheduled Akubra Classic which was called off on the 26th August 2018 due to rain. The Taree round will go ahead as planned on the 3rd of November.
As well as providing for general practice for all participating riders, the upcoming practice day at Taree’s circuit will provide an opportunity for riders competing in the Tri-Series and those entered in the Akubra Classic to gain “track time” on an oiled, dirt track before the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of November.
The Club is also currently asking for Expressions of Interest for its junior Kickstart program and can be contacted by email: firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
