On Monday 1 July, the NSW Dirt Track Sports’ Committee (NSWDTSC) advised Taree Motorcycle Club that eleven (11) classes, to be contested at the 2019 NSW Junior Dirt Track Championship at Taree’s Old Bar Roadside Circuit, will be Championship Classes.
The Championship Classes are as follows:
85cc 2st & 150cc 4st 9-U11yrs Std. Wheel
85cc 2st & 150cc 4st 11-U13yrs Std. Wheel
85cc 2st & 150cc 4st 11-U13yrs Big Wheel
85cc 2st & 150cc 4st 13-U16yrs Big Wheel
85cc 4st Modified 7-U10yrs
85cc 4st Modified 10-U14yrs
100cc 2st to 150cc 2st 13-U16yrs
100cc to 150cc 2st & 200cc to 250cc 4st 13-U16yrs
200cc to 250cc 4st 13-U16yrs.
At the time of the advice from the NSWDTSC , the 50cc Division 2, 7-U9yrs needed one (1) more rider entry to qualify as a Championship Class – this is being worked towards.
At the conclusion of the weekend, there will be eleven (11) – and possibly twelve (12) – new NSW Junior Champions.
The 85cc 2st & 150cc 4st, Std. & Big Wheel, Junior Girls 11-U16yrs Class will also be contested at the event and the Division 1, 4-U9yrs Demonstration will be run as the support class.
Taree Motorcycle Club acknowledges all Juniors (with the support of their families) who entered the 2019 NSW Junior Dirt Track Championship and the Club is looking forward to the excitement of Junior State Championship racing on the weekend of Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July.
